The MiniGear underwater housing for the OM System TG-7 is made of seawater-resistant aluminum. All relevant buttons and levers of the camera can be operated via the housing. The push buttons have different heights so that the buttons can be found under water without looking.
In addition to the OM System TG-7 camera, the underwater housing also fits the Olypmus TG-6 and TG-5 cameras.
The port has an M52 thread for connecting different lenses. This makes it possible to connect various wide-angle lenses or macro lenses available on the market to the housing without an adapter.
Even though aluminum is somewhat heavier than plastic, it has decisive advantages. Aluminum does not age and is UV-resistant. It is also highly dimensionally stable, especially when exposed to direct sunlight and high water pressure at depth. This means that the camera is better protected and you can enjoy your underwater housing for longer.
